Acquire equipment and overbuild! 400G switches – funding ??? - We hope to receive donations for the second set of 2 switches - YYCIX needs to prepare for >100G in SE Calgary - We will upgrade optics as needed (donated or purchased), but must maintain the redundant capacity model (which usually means 2 paths need upgrading) - Over time, YYCIX will need many 400G optics for the fabric The SeattleIX donation model works YYCIX has been using the same approach, on a smaller scale. Can we keep doing it this way? It only takes small amounts of financial help -- and this directly benefits your networks. 11) Group Discussion ===================== Big shout out to everyone who has donated time, equipment, money. Thank-you!! Let's work on the YYCIX "clear story" so that those who are in a position to help YYCIX have the best information to do so. 5:30 pm 12) Adjournment ================ Theo de Raadt motions to adjourn. Seconded by Mark Cordingley and Carried.
